This program is a combination of our Machu Picchu and Nazca Lines tours. Our package was specifically developed to provide you with a magical and mysterious experience in these marvelous places. You will start your experience in Lima, “The City of the Kings”. This city will give you a fine overview of the 3,000 years of development of Peru’s pre-Incan, Incan and modern history. Then, you will continue on your journey and combine the elements. By air, you will be shown the enigmatic Nazca Lines and by sea, you will experience to the wildlife of the Ballestas Islands. Your next step on this fantastic tour will be to the majestic city of Cusco. You will take a fascinating city tour, enjoy the unique scenery of the Sacred Valley and visit the quaint town of Aguas Calientes Finally, you will experience the beauty and magic of the sacred Inca citadel of Machu Picchu.

DAY 1: WELCOME TO LIMA & CITY TOUR

• Transfer to your previously selected hotel.
• City tour of beautiful, colonial and modern Lima.
• Overnight in Lima.

DAY 2: BUS JOURNEY TO PARACAS – BALLESTAS ISLAND (B)

• Pick you up from your hotel.
• Bus journey to Paracas.
• Tour of the wildlife haven of the Ballestas Islands.
• Overnight in Paracas.

DAY 3: BUS JOURNEY FROM PARACAS TO NAZCA  & BACK TO LIMA ( B )

• Pick up from your hotel.
• Bus journey to Nazca
• Flight over the enigmatic Nazca Lines.
• Bus journey back to Lima.
• Overnight in Lima.

DAY 4: WELCOME TO CUSCO & CITY TOUR

• Flight to Cusco.
• Airport meeting and transfer to your hotel.
• City tour of historical Cusco.
• Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 5: SACRED VALLEY TOUR- AGUAS CALIENTES (B / BL)

• Pick up at the arranged time.
• Day tour of the enchanting Sacred Valley.
• Pisaq traditional market is a living outdoor museum.and visit Pisaq archaeological site .
• Lunch at a local restaurant.
• Visit Ollantaytambo, a place where Incan stonemasons expressed their talent and genius.
• Train journey to Aguas Calientes.
• Overnight in Aguas Calientes

DAY 6: MACHU PICCHU TOUR (B / L)

• Transfer by bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu (RT)
• Early tour of Machu Picchu with local guide. (2,5 hours)
• Discover the mysterious site which was never found by gold-hungry Spaniards.
• Bus back down to Aguas Calientes.
• Delicious lunch in a nice restaurant.
• Train journey back to Ollanta or Poroy station.
• Transfer by bus from the train station to Cusco city.
• Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 7: CUSCO FAREWELL (B)

• Departure from Cusco.
• Pick up from your hotel.
• Transfer to airport for your flight home.
• Farewell.

DAY 1: WELCOME TO LIMA – CITY TOUR

AM: Welcome to Peru! Once you arrive in Peru, our staff will be waiting for you at the airport arrivals holding a board with your name on it, and then you will be transferred to your hotel.

PM: You will start your private city tour in Lima visiting the most interesting places in downtown.
Ancestral Lima: We begin our tour with a panoramic view of the “Pucllana Pyramid”, a magnificent ceremonial and archaeological center built in the 4th century AC. and considered “sacred town” by the incas.

Colonial Lima: We visited the Historical Center of Lima, where you will appreciate more than fifty monuments and colonial buildings, highlighting the Paseo de la Republica, San Martín Square, The main Square, the Government Palace, the Archepiscopal’s Palace, the Cathedral, the City Hall Palace among others.

We visit the CENTRAL RESERVE BANK’S MUSEUM, where you will appreciate the “Treasures of Peru – Collection”, a selected exhibition of gold, ceramic and textile objects from diverse pre-Columbian cultures. We will also appreciate the MONUMENTAL SET OF SAN FRANCISCO, which is the largest sample of colonial religious art in America. Being the most notorious atractions its underground crypts known as “Catacombs”.

DAY 2 : LIMA TO PARACAS- ICA ( B)

04:00 am Pick up to the bus terminal “CRUZ DEL SUR” with destination to Paracas Bahia (2nd floor – cruzero service – breakfast on board)
07:45 am. Reception, arrival to the dock.
08:00 am. BALLESTAS ISLANDS TOUR: We will take our motor boats with our respective lifejackets.
We can observe sea lions, pelicans, penguins and other marine birds. Upon return we will have the opportunity to see the “Candelabro”, a giant figure of the Nazca Lines style made in the sand
12:30 am. Reception, transfer to the hotel. Lunch by your own.

DAY 3 : PARACAS – NAZCA – LIMA (B)

08:30: am Transfer to the bus terminal
08:00 : am Bus Paracas – Nazca
11:30 am. Reception
FLY TO THE MYSTERIOUS NAZCA LINES; observe the gigantic Geometric figures, figures of animals including the monkey, the hummingbird and the spider located in the Peruvian coast desert.( aprox. 30 minutes)
Free time to have lunch by your own

PM Transfer to the bus terminal
14:30 pm. Bus to Lima
23:00pm Arrive to Lima and transfer to your hotel.

DAY 4 : FLIGHT TO CUSCO- CITY TOUR (B)

This morning you will be met at your Lima hotel and transferred to the airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon your arrival at the Cusco airport, you will be welcomed by an Inka Rainbow representative and will be driven to your chosen hotel.

Since its narrow alleyways were originally designed by the Incas as a city for walking, start your exploration of Cusco on foot.

In the afternoon begin at the Plaza de Armas, the Main Square, which is marked by the exquisite Spanish Colonial architecture and ornamentation imposed by Spanish colonists to exert religious and political influence. Underneath it all, however, you can clearly see remnants of Inca Cusco in the solid stonework. Visit Qoricancha, the most sumptuous “Sun Temple” in the Inca Empire, and the breathtaking Cathedral, a repository for Cusco’s colonial art, as well as many other important archaeological relics and artifacts. You will also stop by the colourful San Pedro market and pass through the charming neighborhood of San Blas. Next, visit Sacsayhuaman, an Inca citadel atop a hill, on the outskirts of the city. Not only are the imposing terraces of masterful stonework a sight to behold, but the vistas overlooking the sienna rooftops of Cusco provide a whole new perspective to the city you traversed.

DAY 5 : SACRED VALLEY TOUR (B/L)

In the morning we will pick you up at your hotel at about 8.00 am and travel to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, a tranquil oasis of cultural, historical, and agricultural richness just 45 minutes from Cusco where the Incas once built important cities such as Pisac and Ollantaytambo. We will enjoy the beautiful Andean landscape during the day. Our first stop will be the typical handicraft market of Pisaq for then visiting the impressive archaeological park of Pisac. After a delicious Buffet Lunch in Urubamba (Muña Restaurant).

We will continue our tour through the Sacred Valley to Ollantaytambo to visit its Inca ruins. It is the second archaeological place after Machupicchu in importance order.
After the tour your guide will left you at the train station to take the train to Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu).

Arriving to the train station, we will be waiting for you to go to your hotel. Where our local guide will contact you to give you the last recommendations for your next amazing tour in the morning.

DAY 6 : MACHU PICCHU TOUR (B/L)

We start our tour to Machu Picchu in the morning taking the bus up to Machu Picchu citadel to explore one of the New World 7 Wonders. You will meet your guide at the entrance of the marvel where we are going to have our tour (approx. 2,5 hours), having enough time for the contemplation of the amazing scenery.

We will explore the Intiwatana (Sun’s Conection Shrine), the Condor Temple, the Three Windows Temple, Andean terraces, and other places of interest.

You will have enough time to walk around the archeological complex, capture these incredible memories with your camera, feel and appreciate the energy and peacefulness of this sacred place.
***Another option – for those who love the action – is hiking up to Huayna Picchu, the Young Mountain (previous booking is necessary).

In the afternoon you will go back to the town to get your lunch and after take the train back to Ollantaytambo and return to Cusco by bus from there to finally overnight in your hotel in Cusco.

DAY 7: CUSCO FAREWELL (B)

Transfer to the airport according to the flight departure.

It’s going to be an easy day walking around Cusco, getting an idea about all the different options you have in this cosmopolitan city: museums, shops, markets, restaurants and of course the best locations to spend the night.
In the night You we will go to an interesting touristic restaurant to taste a delicious dinner based on products of the region, while we enjoy a beautiful show.
