    From Lima to Tambopata

    Fly to Puerto Maldonado. Guided rainforest walk at Inkaterra Reserva Amazónica. Twilight river excursion to observe nocturnal wildlife.

    Visit Lake Sandoval in a wooden canoe. Explore the Inkaterra Canopy Walkway. Walk the Anaconda Trail through the swamp.

Will I be traveling with a group?

This is a private, tailor-made tour. You'll have your own dedicated guide and private transportation throughout. While you may encounter other travellers at lodges and sites, you'll have personalized attention and the flexibility to customise your experience.

What is the Amazon portion of the tour like?

You'll stay at the Inkaterra Reserva Amazónica eco-lodge with guided excursions including canopy walks, lake exploration, and night hikes. The lodge offers comfortable accommodations with opportunities to observe incredible wildlife including monkeys, macaws, river otters, and unique rainforest species.

Is this tour physically demanding?

The tour includes walking, hiking, and some steep climbs (particularly at Machu Picchu and the optional Huayna Picchu hike). A reasonable fitness level is recommended, but you can choose the intensity of activities you participate in. Our guides will support you at every stage.

How do you handle safety for solo travellers?
